StatusQueen's Love Calculator turns two names into a thoughtful compatibility report. Unlike most "love calculators" that simply hash a string and call it fate, this one composes a percentage from three transparent factors — and a fourth one if you opt in to zodiac.
How the score is calculated
Every result comes from a deterministic mix of these factors:
- Letter chemistry — shared letters between the two names, with vowel matches weighted higher than consonants. Names that "rhyme" in sound and shape score higher.
- Numerology compatibility — each name's letters are summed using the Pythagorean system (A=1, B=2 … cycling at 9), then reduced to a single destiny number 1–9. Two destiny numbers are looked up in a traditional numerology compatibility table.
- Name rhythm — comparable name length, similar starting and ending letters. Captures the "they sound right together" intuition.
- Zodiac match — if you provide birthdays, each maps to its zodiac sign and the pair is scored using elemental affinity (Fire–Air sustain each other; Earth–Water nurture each other; conflicting elements score lower).
Why deterministic math matters
The same two names always produce the same percentage. Refresh the page, come back tomorrow, send it to a friend — the answer doesn't drift. That stability is what makes the result feel meaningful instead of random. A different number on every refresh is just a slot machine.

- 85–100% — Two souls in unusually deep alignment. Letters echo, numbers harmonize, rhythms match.
- 70–84% — A strong, growable bond. Most successful pairings live here, not in the upper reaches.

Are accents and special characters handled?
Yes — accented letters are normalized (é → e, ñ → n) before scoring, so names from any language are treated fairly.
How is the zodiac match calculated?
Each birthday maps to one of the twelve zodiac signs. Compatibility is then scored using elemental affinity: same sign couples mirror each other, same-element pairs share temperament, complementary elements (Fire–Air, Earth–Water) sustain each other, and conflicting elements (Fire–Water, Earth–Air) score lower.
