StatusQueen's Merge PDF tool combines two or more PDF files into a single PDF document, in the exact order you choose. Page breaks, bookmarks within each PDF, hyperlinks, and embedded fonts are all preserved — no re-encoding, no quality loss, no watermark, no sign-up.
How to merge PDFs
- Drop two or more
.pdffiles into the upload area, or click choose files to browse from your device. Up to 10 files per merge. - Each PDF can be up to 25 MB. Drag the cards to set the merge order — the number on each card shows where that file's pages will land.
- Click Merge PDF. The combined PDF downloads as soon as it's ready.
- Hit Download when finished. Your files are removed from our server automatically after five minutes — or instantly when you click Delete file from server.
When you'd want to merge PDFs
- Application packets. Combine your CV, cover letter, certificates and references into a single document for HR portals that only accept one upload.
- Invoice + receipt. Stitch matching invoices and payment receipts together for expense reports or audits.
- Multi-page scans. If your phone scanner exported each page as its own PDF, merge them back into one document.
- Reports + appendices. Combine the main report PDF with separately-generated chart pages or supplementary data.
- Ebooks + lecture notes. Bundle related study materials into one searchable PDF for offline reading.
What gets preserved
- Original quality. No re-rendering — pages are concatenated as-is at their original resolution.
- Hyperlinks and clickable URLs. Both internal cross-references (within a source PDF) and external web links survive intact.
- Embedded fonts. Custom fonts in the source PDFs come through to the merged output.
- Page sizes. Mix A4, Letter, and custom page sizes — each page keeps its original dimensions in the merged PDF.
- Searchable text. Text-based PDFs stay searchable and copy-pasteable in the merged file.
Limitations
- Password-protected PDFs are rejected. Run them through our Unlock PDF tool first to remove the password, then merge here.
- Form fields don't always combine cleanly. Multiple PDFs with form fields of the same name may produce duplicate-name conflicts in the merged document. Best to flatten forms first.
- Existing TOC bookmarks aren't synthesized. If each source PDF has its own bookmark tree, the merged output keeps those local trees but doesn't add a top-level chapter listing.
Privacy and security
PDFs are uploaded over HTTPS, processed on our server and removed automatically after five minutes — or immediately when you click Delete file from server on the result screen. We don't share, resell or analyse the contents of your documents, and the merge runs without ever signing you in. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I merge PDFs into one file?
Drop two or more PDFs into the upload area, drag the cards to set the order, then click Merge PDF. The combined PDF downloads instantly when ready.
Is the Merge PDF tool free?
Yes — every merge on StatusQueen is completely free. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
How many PDFs can I combine?
Up to 10 PDFs per merge. Each file can be up to 25 MB. The page order in the merged PDF matches the order of the cards on screen — drag to rearrange.
Will my page order be preserved?
Yes. Pages are concatenated in the exact order shown on the cards. Within each PDF, every page keeps its original order.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged directly. Use our Unlock PDF tool first to remove the password, then merge the unlocked PDFs here.
Are my PDFs safe?
Yes. PDFs are uploaded over HTTPS, processed on our server and deleted as soon as you start a new batch — or automatically after a few minutes. We do not keep, share or analyse your documents.
Will the merged PDF lose quality?
No. We use page-level concatenation rather than re-rendering — every page in the merged PDF is bit-identical to the corresponding page in the source. Hyperlinks, embedded fonts and original resolution are all preserved.
