How to remove pages from a PDF
- Drop your
.pdffile into the upload area, or click choose file. - Wait a couple of seconds while we render thumbnails of every page.
- Click the × on any page you want to remove. Click again to undo. Status counter shows how many pages will remain.
- Click Save PDF. The trimmed PDF downloads as a single file with only the kept pages, in original order.
What this is useful for
- Trimming scanned documents. Drop a 30-page scan, remove the blank dividers and back covers, save the cleaned PDF.
- Removing cover pages and disclaimers. Strip out the marketing front matter before sharing a research paper or report.
- Cleaning up exports. Many tools (Word, Google Docs, browser print) export extra blank pages — pick them off here.

What gets preserved
- Original quality. Page-level extraction means no re-rendering — every output page is bit-identical to the source.
- Hyperlinks. Both internal cross-references and external web links survive on the kept pages.
- Embedded fonts. Custom fonts in the source PDF carry through to the trimmed output.
- Page sizes. Mixed A4 / Letter / custom page sizes all keep their original dimensions.
- Searchable text. Text-based PDFs stay searchable and copy-pasteable.
- Page order. Kept pages appear in the resulting PDF in their original order. We don't reorder.
Limitations
- Password-protected PDFs are rejected. Run them through our Unlock PDF tool first.
- 50 MB and 200 pages max per upload. For bigger PDFs, run them through our Compress PDF tool first or trim them in two passes.
- You must keep at least one page. The tool refuses if you try to remove every page.
- Removing a page that contained a form field may leave dangling field references on other pages — best to flatten forms before trimming.
Privacy and security
PDFs are uploaded over HTTPS, processed on our server and removed automatically after five minutes — or immediately when you click Delete file from server on the result screen.
